Products that are labeled as BPA free do not contain Bisphenol A, a chemical commonly found in plastic products. Can you compost them with ear wax on them? The cotton swabs, like all Hydrophil products, are water-neutral, vegan & fair trade. I actually think they work better than what I was using before because the handle is sturdier and the cotton doesn’t come loose (very tightly woven). My one complaint is that it’s kind of expensive for only 100 swabs. These nasty mofos are made with the assistance of non-renewable oil in the manufacturing process. Industrial facilities may not exist in your area. Love having this an alternative to the regular qtips and feel less guilty knowing it is compostable. These are seriously AWESOME! baileyzempel Certain materials may be better fit for industrial facilities than backyard composting systems. They come in a nice box made of recycled cardboard.
