This guy can pick. It's a short disc, but the groove will keep you playing it over and over, at least I do. I have the album, so now I have the CD. I thought it was a slight deviation from the Funkadelic style, but it was still "cold-blooded ghetto rock". Frantic Moment and So goes the story are odd, but who cares it's Eddie Hazel. I think it sounds like an average record press.

Excellent guitar playing by Eddie Hazel in his first solo album. FUNK ON,Y'ALL!! All Parliament/Funkadelic fanatics (and plenty of general funk and rock fans) should be sufficiently worshipful of Eddie Hazel to desperately crave this disc.
This album isn't of the caliber of his work with Funkadelic, but it's an interesting peek into the mind of a great guitarist before he destroyed himself with substance abuse. The best being the end of Physical Love where Senor Hazel is playing some of the most intense guitar i've ever heard. Buy a CD or Vinyl record and get 90 days free Amazon Music Unlimited.
