• Rest.

252 Def, 252 SpDef, 4 HP Some detail, including the intended game mode for your set, is also appreciated. Otherwise I find very few people expect Trick Room, and as such it works quite well. VGC Trevenant I know X/Y came out recently but seeing the movesets offered for this Pokemon, I was disappointed that no one mentioned Forest's Curse and I just had to register an account (finally) just to offer it for anyone whose interest I may catch with this moveset idea. Trevenant's primary niche is its ability to weaken common Grass switch-ins, so a great partner for Trevenant is another Grass sweeper such as Leafeon or Jumpluff that appreciates this. Movesets for its pre-evolutions, if any, can also be shared on this thread. Basically, this thing is designed to take hits. It's average defenses makes it hard to wall out super powerful sweepers however trevenant CAN deal with them; just use trevenant smartly. If you need a more offensive counter to Fighting, Ground, and Water, Trevenant would probably be the better choice, and a solid teammate in the lower tiers. With moves like substitute and phantom force, you can stall a ton of turns to eat a sitrus Berry or you could put a Lum Berry with the move rest. (I deliberately did that lol), I'm surprised no one put up a good lum berry staller set. - Substitute Good spinblocker. Wouldn't say it's good, but on a pure design standpoint I do like it a lot, and it's actually one of my faves from gen 6. As a Staller, Confuse Ray has stopped several sweepers from getting an attack out.

I would say Natural Cure is preferred in case of Burns or Paralysis. Wait, 100 HP EVs + 200HP EVs= 300 HP EVs :O. zapdos is another example, netting a 4x weakness to ice (force the switch or net the valuable KO if you have a fast ice user such as starmie or greninja), adding a fire weakness, and neutralizing resists against bug and flying. I like it. Ability: Natural Cure (only because I can't obtain one with Harvest) This is the set that I use, except I use Shadow Claw>Substitute. - Wood Hammer Be sure to include full set details in your post, e.g. Adamant Nature I would have used it on my final team in X if I didn't already use Chesnaught for a Grass-type.

Access the full list of guidelines here. Giving us … Adamant Nature The Unofficial Endgame hunter of the FE13/14 boards. Lum berry, Wood hammer - STAB, high power, recoil won't matter if you can keep your hp up with rest

items, abilities, natures and EVs. Ability: Harvest I like that you've posted an offensive AND a defensive set. - Shadow Claw For Pokemon X on the 3DS, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Is trevenant really that good?".

Trevenant is has great design that before gen6 didn't excist.

That said, you could try it as a support move to reduce 4x weaknesses at the cost of some resists. Leave your feedback in the comments below! - Rock Slide. Brave Nature (+Atk -Spe) -Protect

The reason is that Gourgeist's abilities are near worthless and needs synthesis or pain split for recovery making for less available moves to slap onto this thing. I chose Trick Room to take advantage of his good attack and poor speed.

Ability: Harvest Monferno and Pawniard are also notable options if you do not want to stack Grass-types, as they also appreciate targets such as Vullaby out of the way to ease their own sweep. Many people will ragequit at this annoying yetamazing strategy. I gave it substitute and phantom force to help stall for a harvest and to live longer while leech seed and will o wisp slowly drain the opponents health. Aroun…

"I'm an atheist too but still believe in hell. EVs: 252 Spe/252 Hp/ 4 SDef Ability: Harvest -Protect (Stalling). This is an excellent lead, as it can absorb status and begin building momentum right off the bat with attack boosts from power-up punch. It's average defenses makes it hard to wall out super powerful sweepers however trevenant CAN deal with them; just use trevenant smartly. He has WoW to wear down the foe faster, and Harvest and Horn Leech for even more recovery. I fixed it. The thing that caught my attention is trevenant's movepool combined with its harvest ability and ghost/grass typing.

The advantage of Trevenant though is that it has higher power STAB attacks than Gourgeist, knowing Wood Hammer and Shadow Claw. His main problem is having to rely on Leech Seed for recovery, and while he only has two weaknesses, Fighting is a fairly awful type to be weak to this gen. I like this move set, simply because it can completely stuff up someone who is not expecting it. Leech seed If you happen to have really low health, protect so that harvest will bring the berry back from the dead. I don't take credit for this moveset This is mine.

Trait: Harvest Also, for future reference, you can't switch whilst recharging. 100hp, 200hp, 200def, 10atk Leech Seed Leech seed+ Burn lets your opponents lose 24% per turn, when you gain some of your own. Adamant Trevenant Pokédex and learnset for reference. So this set is completely original, and I haven't played with it yet so I'm looking for some feedback and wondering if its any good. You're browsing the GameFAQs Message Boards as a guest. These movesets disappoint me. So basically this is a standard stall set. deal with fire

A burn would help against them, but I feel like you can lose momentum very quickly that way. - Leech Seed Wood Hammer takes recoil (1/3 whatever damage you dish out) and Shadow Claw > Phantom Force because if your opponent has half a brain they will switch to something that resists or is immune to it, so it's not that great.

Ability: Frisk / Natural Cure That's where you're headed pal." Use substitute to easily stop your opponents move from hurting you. EV's HP/SpD Trevenant is used to stall-kill things and to check very popular threats. • Curse/Will-O-Wisp Trevenant @ Sitrus Berry -Leech Seed Def. Protect is for further stalling, and when you vanish from phantom force, it is like a turn of protect (With damage).

- Will-O-Wisp EV's: 252 HP/ 252 Att/ 4 Sp. CURSE Substitute Trevenant is not a wall that you can throw out to just swallow hits to prevent a teammate from fainting (use Cresselia or something for that). The grass/ghost typing gives trevenant plenty of resistances (but at some costs) which makes it a good wall. :), THhis is an okay moveset but if u forest curse someone and the switch out BOOM no more curse idk if u have seen my moveset  trevenant is good for stall this is good like if ur oponent only has one pokemon left sorry if im mean or harsh. WoW would be a good option to make your defenses even better, but you give up coverage against the things that would wall you by taking 0 damage from either of your STABs: sap-sipper normal types like miltank and sawsbuck. -Phantom Force/Shadow Claw/Wood Hammer. Basically you Curse the opponent and switch between Protect and Horn Leech until they switch out. - Wood Hammer Nature:Brave/Adamant This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards. I have this moveset so Big Root can be effective with Horn Leech and Leech Seed since it doesn't have Harvest and i'm not using Protect for stalling. - Wood Hammer. On top of its head is a cluster of green leaves. (my friend uses azumaril  so thats why i used that as an example).

The only thing stopping this Trevenant is running out of PP!

Harvest You'll spend forever trying to get a leech seed or will o wisp because your too busy trying to keep your self alive while trevenant sits there and eats berries. It allows no switching, which lets it be killed or set up on very easily. Power Whip and Gyro Ball off that terrible terrible speed can do a good amount of damage, even without EV investment. Sub is what makes this a SubSeed set, avoiding status and attacks while recovering from Leech Seed, which wears down the foes whole it heals you. Shadow claw - STAB, good crit chance

this.

-Phantom force (Stalling move, might as well do some damage) Horn Leech is STAB and moar recovery.

thxz grinjas im planning on training a trevenant, Recharge? This also makes a great staller against many opponents that use high-power-low-pp moves. Shadow Claw / Phantom Force (Crits or 2 turn power, STAB), Horn Leech / Wood Hammer (HP Drain or Power with recoil, STAB), Will-O-Wisp / Leech Seed (Burn or HP drain). All of these will be based on the smogon's single battles in the OU format.

i think this will be the best all around tank if you arent focusing specifically on def or sdef.
