Link's critical problem is his vulnerability to combos, especially with the addition of L-Cancelling, although L-Canceling is also greatly in Link's favor in various cases. Additionally he can pressure his foe from a distance using his bombs, arrows, boomerangs and long ranged grab using the Clawshot. A surpsingly fast and effective spacing move. It is important to note that Link will not use the second hit until he reaches Level 50 (the reason for this is unknown). We hope it works better! Spin Attack can also deflect projectiles if used in the air. It comes out in just 5 frames and stays active for a long time, making it a great approach move from the air.

This move is good for dealing good damage and starting juggles, but not so much for KOs.

It's not bad, but Down Throw deals more damage and knockback, making it better near the edge. at high percentages and is great for juggling.

Some consider this move a very useful counter move. I can use any other character's fsmash as it's intended to be used, and I fail to see why Link has to be that one character that requires more effort to land a simple fsmash. Link uses his clawshot.

Link has great kill power, improved recovery, air game and a different Grounded Side B (equiped with very powerful kill moves, and boomerang is still usable in the air and doesn't cancel then landing). Half the time when I'm up close and try to land it, the initial hit misses, and thus the rest of the move misses.

It requires too much precision and timing for what is essentially a mediocre, situational fsmash that 90% of the time won't hit your opponent. It has a high-priorirty hitbox and stays active for a long time. It would be better off as the 64 version.
