- Rest. Sticky Web support also helps Exploud drastically. Choice Scarf makes up for Exploud's awful Speed, so it does shift things dramatically. Ice Beam Flyings and good coverage. Exploud is not included in any egg in Pokémon Go. Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef) Excellent moveset excep maybe add earthquake instead of toxic. Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk). Leftovers keeps things simple, Life Orb adds some power for some minor HP complications and Choice Specs completely changes the dimension of the move-set. Extrasensory gets a super-effective hit on Fighting types (and Poison Types), but again, you get a neutral hit with your STAB anyway. -Zen Headbutt (Well-needed coverage against Fighting and Poison types) If you're dealing with a physically-inclined variant, Will-o-Wisp will cause it some problems, but it's generally so slow that paralysis won't be a major hindrance.
The item can vary things slightly.

Pretty decent phazer in the lower tiers. Fire Blast/Blizzard or Flamethrower/Ice Beam is the classic reliability vs power issue, but I lean towards Flamethrower/Ice Beam because of the nerf. - Substitute ~ Extrasensory (Chance of flinch and cover fighting weakness)
Ability: Scrappy, This set attempts to wallbreak as best as it can with Boomburst while using its great coverage to hit Pokemon that resist Boomburst. Boomburst is a strong STAB move and can hit Ghost Types thanks to Scrappy. Also a handful of offensive moves such as Bug Buzz and Hyper Voice are also avoided. - Extrasensory. The tubes along its head-crest and tails are tipped with yellow, while the ones along its back have yellow semicircular patterns on either sides.

It has red eyes, a stubby nose, and two peg-like teeth in each jaw. But I know yours are limited, so maybe crunch, or if you are willing to have the power drop, overheat (unexpected), Exploud (M) @ Choice Scarf You can drop down on the Speed a bit to open up some EVs. Exploud can be used for against any Ghost boss if u have Bite/ Crunch on it. - Crunch / Earthquake / Overheat / Surf Exploud's special move-pool expands a bit beyond what was listed on its special move-pool. Scrappy allows Circle Throw to hits ghosts, and Frustration / Return hits too. Pokémon Battle TrozeiPokémon Link: Battle, Mystery Dungeon: Blazing, Stormy & Light Adventure Squad, Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Time & Darkness, Black: Victini & ReshiramWhite: Victini & Zekrom. STAB Hyper Voice provides the power, with Shadow Ball covering it against Ghosts and Surf against Rocks. Nature: Modest Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) Psych Up is to restore your special attack stat if you use Overheat. It emits all sorts of Overheat packs a lot of power, and does cover the aforementioned Steel types. Remember, if you have a Exploud with a higher CP than shown here for your own level, then that is because your Exploud is in a higher level than you are. - Earthquake Episode 529: Team Shocker!

- Overheat Your offensive stats are Base 91 a piece, which is pretty decent, and does meld nicely with Exploud's rather versatile move-pool.

The main attraction is that a boosted Exploud can't be Roared away. It has protruding tubes with holes along its body: seven forming a crest on top of its head, one on each elbow and knee, two along its back, and one at the end of each of its two tails. Thundurus is amazing for Exploud, controlling speed with Thunder Wave and resisting any fighting type attacks. - Return - Brick Break Exploud is a Normal Pokémon which evolves from Loudred.

What you do with your other three move-slots is very variable however. Be sure to include full set details in your post, e.g. Gen 8 RU

EVs: 220 HP / 8 Atk / 140 Def / 140 SDef Sassy Nature (+Sp.Def, -Speed), -Flamethrower(100% accuracy and good power), -Blizzard/Focus Blast( Both are very powerful moves

Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def) / Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef). One thing I would be quick to point out is that Choice Banders come a dime a dozen, and all that Exploud has to make it stand out from most others is Overheat, so that raises the question: “if I want a Choice Bander, should I be using Exploud?”, - Hyper Voice

Exploud's move-pool goes well beyond these four however, including some of the moves listed above and some that'll be listed in “Other Options”. EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Def - Crunch / Earthquake / Overheat / Surf Return hits with STAB, backed by Crunch (covering Normal-immune Ghosts) and Earthquake (covering Normal-resistant Rocks and Steels). - Surf How to use: You need to know your Pokemon's exact level. [email protected] Specs As for the Nature, I'd stick with Modest, though you could get it's defense on par with it's special defense with Bold or get some speed with Timid. - Circle Throw

Item Attached: Leftovers / Life Orb / Choice Band What should I use besides Frustration/Return today? Loudred is a Normal Pokémon which evolves from Whismur. Exploud @ Life Orb Exploud, The Loud Noise Pokémon. Leftovers keeps things simple and Life Orb gives a good power boost. Life Orb gives you a slight power boost but also adds the slight complication of slowly chipping away at your HP. - Boomburst - Sleep Talk Just because Return is your core attacking move, you'll be leaning in favour of your physical stat rather than your special stat, but your special stat should definitely not be neglected. EVs and Nature: Scarf is for more Speed, which this Pokemon needs. It has sound-generating organs all over its body. - Boomburst If your health gets too low: Rest and Sleep Talk. Exploud Pokédex and learnset for reference. Other than that, we suggest sticking with Disarming Voice.

~ Focus Blast (Stops Steel and Rock Types walling it completely) - Focus Blast If you have a good competitive moveset for Exploud, post an answer below and upvote the best ones.Movesets for any of its pre-evolutions can also be shared on this thread. It is vulnerable to Fighting moves. EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spe / 6 HP, Boomburst- It's a Hyper Beam without recharge plus STAB and it hits ghost type. On the bright side, Fighting gives you coverage on Steel and Rock types, so you can handle two major obstacles with one move. Soundproof: keeps Exploud safe from “sound-based” moves (and also makes it immune to the positive effects of a team-mate's Heal Bell). - Fire Blast Spam Boomburst, or pick an appropriate move and watch things get major damage. Ability: Scrappy Whilst Hyper Voice gives it some mild competition, Return is stronger and will usually take dominance. Specs STAB Boomburst is simply amazing. It's also worth a little note that Exploud's “signature” Hyper Voice doesn't affect other Soundproof Pokémon, although that's sadly limited to Mr. Fire Blast is for Steel types. - Hyper Voice Ability: Scrappy Ability: Scrappy Naive Nature

Again, we're dealing with a Pokémon that isn't a huge threat but also isn't the kind of Pokémon where you can just list a bunch of Pokémon and say “these guys will stop it in its tracks.” Exploud has two good attacking stats and a very nice move-pool, and consequently has the potential to hit most UU Pokémon strongly with at least one of its moves. This moveset can cover 421 as super effective. EVs and Nature: Public chat room for Pokemon Go trainers all around the world!

EVs: 128 Atk / 128 SAtk / 252 Spd EVs:252 Sp.Atk/252 Def The icing on the cake is that Exploud gets the awesome ability Scrappy, meaning that those pesky ghosts can no longer switch in with impunity.
