The technical details are fully laid out, but are pretty straightforward for a layperson (such as myself) to follow, or skim, depending on interest level. By contrast, Kathy Sullivan’s new book Handprints on Hubble: An Astronaut’s Story of Invention is as purposeful as she is. If you follow the world of food, chances are you’ve heard of David Chang.

An accessible, engaging read for students of engineering and the history of technology and generalist readers interested in NASA history. This book was fairly divided down the middle in my bookclub; some likes and dislikes. Definitely not a boring technical book. The Hubble Telescope has revolutionised our understanding of the Universe. Except for damaged items or delivery issues the cost of return postage is borne by the buyer. It tells the human part of the story.
