The Space for Life museums take kids from digging in the dirt all the way into the furthest reaches of space: roam the outdoor spaces of the Montréal Botanical Garden to learn more about the variety of plant-life in Québec, Canada and the tropics  (currently free for ages 17 and under), and see what the universe is really made of in exhibitions and immersive films at the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium.

On the other hand, if you do have children with you it's great, especially as you can take them afterwards to the first floor with the hands-on setups. Robyn has covered major events for HOUR, MUTEK, ARTINFO, CKUT 90.3FM and more. The best part was the 3D movie which was the best we have seen ever. exhibit as it looked fun for a 3 year old but there was plenty to interest her throughout the other exhibits.

Lots of space for running and moving around the museum. Canada, Fabrik invites you to take on creative challenges involving invention and assembly-work using a variety of random pieces.
