After a suggestion from a work colleague we googled audiclean and thought it would be ideal as I'm reluctant to use chemical remedies after my dad and husband both used over the counter products and had no success with them and also ended up with reduced hearing after syringing (when the nhs used to syringe ears). The first time we used them I laughed until I cried at DH with the smouldering candle stuck in his ear. You pays yer money, and yer takes yer choice... olive oil into each ear - after all the syringing and medication I have used over the years, I can tell you its true! Don't see what difference it makes if the infection in one ear starts 2 days after the other, myself . My dd gets lots of wax. I read about audiclean in Which? Can't be a coincidence, it must have been the Audiclean which loosened up the wax.
