While getting these drugs, they have to give me my steroid pills and then a combination of antibiotics, anti-nausea med, and Benadryl. After radiation I will have 1 year on a low dose chemo pill and then immunotherapy (if my oncologist can find a trial that I qualify for) to boost the immune system to fight the cancer. This month, please remember to do a simple thing, check your breasts! And I love my community, but it's not one I want anyone else to join because of the journey that comes with it. Early detection is the key. I care about you and don't want anyone else to go through what I've gone through. I'm grieving so many different things pictures will never tell you about. We thought at the time that the most logical answer was a blocked duct and some infection since I was breast feeding. I mean, I only ate like 1/2 kg of cake almost daily, slept 2 hours a day and was dealing with postpartum anxiety hyperventilating every time I fed my little one and trying to juggle it all. No point in arguing against myself. This October looks a million times different than last October.
