The pen of the Intuos (non-pro version), while not bad, is not as good as the pro version. This is my 5th Wacom in the past 15 or so years. If endless tutorials, and calls to lackluster customer service to the Wacom website itself won't resolve the problem then it's a wasted two-hundred dollars. That's why I got the small this time. My daughter does fine with it as it's all she's ever used. I love the price point I found on Amazon for this Wacom tablet.. Otherwise this is a good product. These are the gold standard in tablets and I can't imagine settling for anything else.
Great tablet! There’s a newer version of the pen out now but I’ve heard mixed reviews on it as well. Just purchased her another one, but made sure to spend the extra money for the Assurion 4 year warranty, as you might as well throw it out if it stops working. I bought this tablet when it went on sale and so far my husband adores it.
Great size and works well he recommend it for those who do a lot of editing on there photos.
Took a while to get used to the pen-tablet interaction but it is remarkably sensitive. You can still see all customer reviews for the product. I would obtain the same results with the medium tablet, plus it would be easier to carry.
Seriously terrible and hugely overpriced - a complete waste of time & money. I bought this as a replacement for my previous wacom intros pro pen and touch tablet which had lasted me a couple of years. Pieces broke off from the internal electronics as a result. I got the medium because I was worried that the active part of the tablet would be to small for my strokes, even though in many reviews I had read, people had mentioned that they found the small to be more than sufficient. In addition, there are more express keys and the touch ring.
