Is Mega Scizor any good for competetive battling. It must be taught the moves in the appropriate game and then transferred to Pokémon Diamond & Pearl.

So this is my first moveset ever but I'm trying to get into Smogon and stuff.


- Bug Bite- Technician and STAB boost and steals opponents' berries to prevent sets such as Rest and Lum Berry, Outrage/Petal Dance/Thrash and Lum Berry, or the supereffective berries EVs: 252 SAtk 252 Spd, 4 HP

Trait: Technician Juju...no amount of Sword Dances and a Double Hit can save Scizor from a fire attack, especially from a fire Pokémon. Scizor is the offensive version of Forretress, trading away durability for more offensive options, which include much faster, low energy-demanding moves.

It is safe to say that NO Scizor is safe from a fire Pokémon. -technician, What you guys forgot was that scizor is a staller with occa berry. He/She is already Sashed. It resists practically everything that Scizor can do, and it can hit hard with powerful Fire-type moves, which will take Scizor down within seconds. I just field tested this Scizor. Most people think of sandslash as a Rapid spin user.

This move should be used the most throughout the game, since Brick Break does WAY less then this. EVs: 252 Atk, 252 HP, 6 Speed So this Scizor is for switching in the right moment, or taking the right moment to get a chance at dancing up! This is my own Scizor. Swords Dance (double your attack) - Bug Bite Bullet Punch is an option, but he wasn't wrong with Iron Head. Should've, Could've, Would've(s) are all out the window, bud.

Fire types are the bane of this thing's existence, very much like ferrothorn. Trait: Technician Scizor has plenty of other great options.

I've never seen A sandslash in Ranked. The moves make it a good scout, and a good sweeper (So long as the opponent doesn't have any steel types). The moves' detail pages may show a different category for Generation 4+.
